I'd love to see what a proper behavioural psychologist would say about the arms crossed thing.Brownershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09494760235889452922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906220867589613765.post-79911258588190733182008-02-28T13:23:00.000+00:002008-02-28T13:23:00.000+00:00Interesting and amusing.I confess to watching 'Hot...Interesting and amusing.<BR/>I confess to watching 'Hotel Babylon', and the most recent episode introduced us to the new executive chef, Otto Clark, played by Alan Davies. Whilst he was watching the kitchen staff at work, he struck up the Gordon pose, one arm across chest and the other with the knuckle against the chin! I wonder who he's based the character on? There wasn't the Gordon-style swearing, but definitely the stance.Cheeky Spousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10704918946197040587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906220867589613765.post-64696981017486418922008-02-24T17:53:00.000+00:002008-02-24T17:53:00.000+00:00Glad you enjoyed it. You've got it spot on - the guys with their arms crossed look smug, unapproachable and vaguely threatening, while Jamie's and Hugh's relaxed styles make me want to go and buy their books. Gordon's a great chef, but his style of gruff masculinity is actually a huge turnoff!Cakelawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17205068748520541380noreply@blogger.com
